

Grady is a performing artist (voice, musician, mover and storytelling poet) who has worked his craft in public since 1982 (beginning at the Atlanta College of Art) on the street, in clubs, theaters, art galleries and schools throughout the US and internationally.

Grady studied at California Institute of the Arts (BFA “Theater: Independent Track” 2000) and there studied under I Nyoman Wenten, who electrified him through Balinese Kecak (keCHAK).
From 2003, he has created and performed with chant-percussion groups/troupes based out of Atlanta, GA and Oakland, CA. He has led, taught, and co-taught The Rhythmic Interplay of Community Voice to thousands in the Burning Man community among many others, both in Nevada and California, Texas, Georgia, England, Germany, and South Africa.
